Offshore Wind Maintenance - Helicopters & Vessels
The installed base of offshore windfarms continues to grow and windfarm projects are moving further from shore - by 2030 nearly half (48%) of the installed base of turbines will be more than 30km offshore, according to research from Air & Sea Analytics. Some 480 vessels are marketed for offshore wind support and in recent years, helicopters have found applications in this market also, with 30 currently active.
