Air & Sea Analytics is a research & consulting firm formed in 2019. Our business is focussed on providing timely and reliable measurement of activity in the Heavy, Super-Medium and Medium rotorcraft categories in mission-critical markets including oil & gas crew transfer, offshore wind, emergency medical services and search & rescue. Our market analytics and forecasting is used worldwide by leading OEMs, operators, lessors and financiers.

In addition to regular subscription research products, the business also supports the financial and advisory community with bespoke analysis, used for business planning and transaction purposes. Our projects are staffed from our professional network of advisors and consultants, leveraging two-decades of commercial experience.

 
 

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Steve Robertson

Steve leads Air & Sea Analytics and is responsible for the development and creation of its range of reports and bespoke analysis and consultancy. .

He was previously the Managing Director of research and consulting firm LCI Analytics up until the sale and integration of the parent company into the Sumitomo group. He founded Air & Sea Analytics in 2019 and prior to that he spent 17 years at an energy-sector research and consulting business Westwood Global Energy in a number of roles including Director and Board Member. He led the firm’s oilfield services (OFS) research business unit and initiated coverage in several key OFS areas including offshore helicopters.

He also led and contributed to hundreds of bespoke consulting projects including commercial due diligence mandates relating to oilfield services and also helicopter companies such as CHC, NHV, Bond (now Babcock), Weststar and Pathfinder Aviation.

 

Financial Controller & Director

Shabana Robertson

Shabana is the Financial Controller and a Company Director for Air & Sea Analytics. She previously spent a decade in finance, most recently with HSBC in wealth management. She has a keen interest in public service and currently holds a number of roles in the legal and education sector.

At Air & Sea Analytics Shabana is responsible for accounting and record keeping in addition to banking, financial forecasting, co-ordination of third party accountants and management of debtors. Shabana spoke to SME News re Air & Sea Analytics in summer 2022.
